Biography
Starr Denison was born 16 Apr 1771, the sixth child of Thomas Denison and Katherine Starr of New London, Connecticut.
Starr Denison migrated with his father in 1798 from Hartford to Mayfield, New York.
He married 3 Sep 1800 @ Mayfield, New York, Chloe Stone [b. 23 Apr 1781; d. 30 Jan 1865 @ Clearfield County, Pennsylvania, age 84]. They had 12 children:
- Asenath Denison, b. Aug 1801; married Simpson Johnson
- Vine Denison, b. Jan 1803
- Daniel Denison, b. June 1804; married Clarissa Swagart; d. 1877
- Starr Denison, b. Mar 1806; married Mrs. Elmira (Coleman)Denison, widow of his brother James Denison
