Notes on her family history from Jean (Dawson) Roszell: John Dent married in England. Started for Canada with wife and children Bill & Susan. Wife and Bill died in crossing. Settled around Comber, Essex Co., Ontario. Susan married Bill Chambers and they had two daughters - Lizzie and Ethel. John remarried Miss Tickner and they had six children - Elizabeth Ann (Betsy), Charlotte, John, Joe, George & Charlie. John later married Caroline Smart. Her son Fred married his daughter Betsy. They were my grandparents.
