Biography

Claud was born in 1885. He was the son of Edgar Dering and Marianna Emily Harding.

He married Winifred Gellibrand, daughter of Edmund Gellibrand, in February 1915. They had one daughter:

  • Enid Deborah Claude Dering b. 16 Feb 1922

He fought in the First World War. He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy. He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1919.

He passed away in 1943.
