Biography
Anna was born in 1825 to Giuseppe Di Giovanna, a field hand [1] and Dionisia Almerico [2]. In 1851 at age 26, she married 35-year-old Alberto La Sala, a farmer [3]. She was widowed within the next 11 years. In 1862 she married 41-year-old Giuseppe Mulé, a farmer, in what was his first marriage [4].
