Biography

John was born in 1893 in Lenamore, County Londonderry. He was the son of John Diamond and Anne Kealey.^[1][2]

In 1911 John was living as a farm servant in Gortnagross, County Londonderry.^[3]

John emigrated to Toronto, Ontario (via New York City) in 1913^[4][5] before moving to Walnut, Illinois (via Port Huron, Michigan) in 1914.^[6] He also lived in Drumheller, Alberta before settling finally in the United States in 1922.^[7][8]

John married Annie Killeen in 1925.^[8] The family adopted the daughters of Annie's sister Bridget.^[9]

As of 1942 the family was living in Butte, Montana.^[10] John was naturalized there in 1943.^[11]

John died in 1963 in Montana.^[12] He was buried in Wyoming.^[13]
