Violet was born about 1924. She was the daughter of William Diamond and Eleanor Unknown. She passed away in 2006.
PARSONS, Violet May — Passed away on December 17, 2006 at the Gander Lakeside Home, Violet May Parsons, age 82 years. Predeceased by her husband, Baxter; parents, Lodge and Eleanor (Nellie) Diamond; two sons, Calvin Steward and Eldon John; sisters, June, Maggie Hopkins, Hazel Carter, Sadie Saunders; brothers, Edward, Alfred, Stanley, John, Horatio, Baxter and William. Left to mourn with loving memories are three daughters, Dulcie (Eric) Davis, Pansy Parsons, Margaret (timothy) Kessler; son, David Parsons; seven grandchildren, Geoffrey (Jessie), Jason, Amy Davis, John Parsons, Shane Keats, Jason, Ashley Parsons; three great-grandchildren, Javen, Aria, Kaelin Davis; nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral service was held on December 21, 2006 at the Faith United Church, Glovertown with Rev. Paul Vardy officiating, assisted by Major William Hopkins. Interment followed at the Riverside United Church Cemetery, Glovertown. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Oram's Funeral Home, Glovertown.
