Eugene was born in 1890 in Slovakia, which was at the time part of the Austro-Hungarian empire. He was the son of Moritz Diamond.
He was a grocer.
Around 1913 his parents, he and his brother emigrated to the United States, specifically Atlanta, Georgia.
On 7 Jan 1923 in New York City, New York he married Tessie Weinberger, born in Bayonne, New Jersey, the daughter of David Weinberger and Helen Egerman.[1] They had 4 sons:
He passed away in 1948 and is buried at Greenwood Cemetery, Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia. His widow passed away in 1991.
