Biography

Eugene Diamond migrated from Austro-Hungarian Empire to United States.

Eugene was born in 1890 in Slovakia, which was at the time part of the Austro-Hungarian empire. He was the son of Moritz Diamond.

He was a grocer.

Around 1913 his parents, he and his brother emigrated to the United States, specifically Atlanta, Georgia.

On 7 Jan 1923 in New York City, New York he married Tessie Weinberger, born in Bayonne, New Jersey, the daughter of David Weinberger and Helen Egerman.^[1] They had 4 sons:

• Norman Herbert Diamond 1925–1992
• Leonard Diamond 1927–2009
• Arthur Diamond 1931–
