DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with John by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with John:
Hey Jessica, Could you look through this line and see if by chance a family member was connected at the wrong spot on the line? I ask bc the parents on our Solomon merge that I proposed were close and the dates are exact but I looked at my sourced Censues etc and no names match with the dates of the siblings you have connected and vice versa.... Also, someone changed the parents on Familyasearch (arghhh) with no sourcing SO... I set them as a rejected match so no one will come through and merge them without doing the work... we can easily delete the rejection and merge quickly when ready.
The Findagrave source for this profile does not have a son named Solomon listed and the Censuses don't have him either.
Also using that source there is a PA to NC move (very common) but this will be a bit more difficult than we thought. I'm going to spend a little time on it later but didn't want to bother you with an email so just send me one whenever you have some time. Thanks Love!
