William was born in 1906, the son of William Dines and Agnes Bolitho.[1]
He passed away in 1937, aged 31.[2]

Death: The Albany Advertiser (WA: 1897 - 1954) Mon 10 May 1937 - SUDDEN DEATH OF FOREST RANGER. William Leonard Dines (31), who succeeded the late Mr. Clifford as Forest Ranger for the Albany District a few months ago, was found dead in bed in his room at "Selby House," Bridges Street, on Sunday morning. Death had apparently taken place only a few hours previously. The late Mr. Dines was a member of a well-known South West family, but had no relatives in Albany. He had only recently come out of Hospital after a long illness. As he was not being attended by a doctor just prior to his death, a post mortem examination has been ordered. The funeral will be held to-morrow at ll a.m., leaving, Mr. H. C .Prior's private mortuary for the Church of England Cemetery, Albany.[4]
