Sarah Idella (Dinger) Kennedy was born on 21 May 1881 in Dora, Jefferson County, Pennsylvania, United States, daughter of Elias H. Dinger (1843–1926) and Eve (Shoffner) Dinger (1841–1887).

Her siblings were:

Sarah died on 11 Aug 1927 in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, United States, aged 46. She was buried in Ringgold United Methodist Church Cemetery, Ringgold, Jefferson County, Pennsylvania.[1]

Sarah married Alexander Johnson Kennedy (born on 8 Jun 1868 in Porter township, Jefferson County, Pa) on 27 Dec 1909.
