Biography
Margaret Dixon was born on May 6, 1848 in Fall River, Massachusetts.[1][2] She was the daughter of William Dixon and Mary Higgins.[1][2]
Margaret married Charles Ledman on July 27, 1869 in Hamilton (Butler County), Ohio.[3] They had 5 children, 4 of whom were living in 1910.[4][5]
When Charles and Margaret were first married, Charles' mother Mary Bail Ledman lived with them, along with Charles' brother William.[6] After Charles' death, Margaret lived with her daughter Elizabeth and grandchildren Tyson.[4] After Elizabeth and Jennie's husbands died, Margaret, Jennie, and Elizabeth and her children combined households.[7] In 1930, Margaret, her daughters and 2 of her grandchildren, Edwin and Margaret Tyson, were living in Middletown, Ohio.[8]\
Margaret died on February 1, 1936 at 87 years old shortly after a fall down the basement stairs.[1] She is buried in Middletown Cemetery, Middletown (Butler County), Ohio.[2]
