Jane Doane, who was born at Argyle, N. S., Mar. 29, 1814 and died at Barrington, Apr. 6, 1851 (gravestone, Brass Hill cemetery, Barriugton), the daughter of Israel Doane (200) of Little River, Yarmouth Co., N. S. She married Peter Martin Doane 02 Feb 1840[1]
