Biography

Alexander Dobbie was born in Scotland.

Alexander was born on 19 May 1874 at Craig, Montrose, Forfarshire, Scotland, and his birth was registered at Montrose^[1]. He was the son of Laurence Dobbie and Ann Colliston.

He married Grace Allan Leven on 12 October 1894 at Montrose, Forfarshire, with the marriage being registered there^[2]. Alexander and Grace had five children.

Alexander died on 13 February 1906 aged 31 years when he drowned in a boating accident on the River South Esk, Montrose^[3]. His death was registered at Montrose^[4].
