Docton-69 and Docton-67 appear to represent the same person because: These two appear to be duplicates and need to be merged. Please approve and merge if appropriate.

Docton-69 and Docton-67 do not represent the same person because: A careful reading of Thomas Docton's will reveals that he owned two slaves by the name of Cherry. One of the slaves (Docton-67) was already in the possession of Thomas Docton's daughter Rebecca Docton Bond; Docton's will confirms Rebecca Bond's possession of Cherry. The second slave by the name of Cherry (Docton-69) was part of his household. He left this slave to his widowed daughter Elizabeth Docton Price subject to the condition that upon either her marriage or death the possession of this slave would pass to Elizabeth Price's son James Price.
