Biography
Andrew Donald was born in 1762 at Blackwood Yett, Lesmahagow, Lanark Scotland.
He married Margaret Meikle on Dec 28 1786 at Blackwood Yett, Lesmahagow, Lanark, Scotland. They had 8-10 children.
He passed away on Dec. 6 1822 and is buried at the Lesmahagow , Parish Churchyard. His monumental inscription reads: In memory of Andrew DONALD, Blackwoodyett d. 6.12.1822 aged **y. Also Margaret Meikle his wife d. 11.10.1839 aged *4y. WILLIAM their son d. 16.8.1809 aged **y
