Biography

Charlotte Frances Douglass, born in 1801 to James Alexander Douglass and Charlotte Douglass (born Middleton), remained a spinster until her death in 1883.

According to Census data, In 1871, aged 69, she was living in Heap, Lancashire with her sister Clara Sanders Douglass. In 1881, Charlotte aged 79 and Clara aged 73, both spinsters, were were living in North Meols, Lancashire.
