Biography

William Albert Douglass was born on 13 August 1860 in Gosford, New South Wales, Australia ^[1], the son of William Douglass and Harriet Foreigner and the brother of John Duncan Ferguson [half], Harriet W Douglass, Cassandra Clementine (Douglass) Mead, Lucilla Jane Douglass, Bertha A Douglass and Mabel V Douglass.

He married Sarah Taylor on 16 October 1884 in Grafton, New South Wales, Australia ^[2] and they were the parents of Frederick William Douglass (1885-1919), Andrew Douglass (1890-), Spencer Douglass (1893-1986), Amos Douglass (1896-) and Malcolm Douglass (1899-).

William died on 17 January 1935 in Upper Mangrove Creek, New South Wales, Australia ^[3] and was buried in the Dubbo Gully Mangrove Creek Cemetery, Gosford, New South Wales, Australia ^[4][5].
