Lucy Georgina Dowdle (married name Hawking) was born in 1869 in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, the daughter of Sarah Elizabeth Dowdle and John Blackett Dowdle^[1].

She married Phillip William Hawking on 11 December 1912 at St Jude's Church of England in Carlton, Victoria.^[2][3]

Lucy died on 10 July 1926 in South Melbourne, Victoria, aged 56 years.^[4][5]
