Emily Dowds was born in Ireland.
Emily was born in 1899 at Hillsboro Road, Lisburn. She is the daughter of Charles Dowds (labourer) and Eliza Irvine. [1] [2]
On 31 March 1901 the Dowds family lived in Ballinahinch Road, Lisburn, County Antrim. [3] Eliza Jane Dowds (31) Linen Weaver with children Margret Dowds (4), Ann Jane Dowds (9), Emily Dowds (1), Charles John Dowds (7), all Church Ireland with boarders David Irvine (24) Agricultural Labourer, Letitia Close (28) Linen Weaver, Joseph Close (7) & Emily Irvine (13).
On 2 April 1911 the Dowds family lived in Ballinahinch Road, Lisburn, County Antrim. [4] Eliza Jane Dowds (42) married 22 years, 7 children born / 6 living, with children Maggie Dowds (14) Flax Spreader, Annie Dowds (19) Rover, Emily Dowds (11), Charles John Dowds (17) Doffer Master & James George Dowds (9), all Church of Ireland.
