Mr. and Mrs. Fred Dremstedt of 6111 Oak Hill Road will celebrate their golden wedding anniversary Aug 19 with a reception at the Bethlehem United Church of Christ Fellowship Hall. Friends and relatives will be welcomed between 2 and 4 p.m.
Mr Dremstedt and the Former Dorothy Bauer were married Aug 26, 1929 in Great Bend, Kan.
Mr. Dremstedt is a retired farmer and school bus driver. Mrs. Dremstedt is retired from the township assessor's office where she worked as a deputy clerk.
Giving the reception will be the couple's niece, nephew and their families.

Fred Dremstedt, 84, formerly of Outer Oak Hill Road, died at 2:35 a.m. Monday (21 Jul 1980) at Deaconess Hospital.
Dremstedt, a resident of 2245 E. Virginia St., was a retired farmer. He had also been a school bus driver for many years in Center Township. Dremstedt was a longtime member of Bethlehem United Church of Christ.
Surviving are his wife, Dorothy; a sister Esther Shrote of Evansville, a brother, Herman of Evansville, and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. Tuesday at Alexander Funeral Home East Chapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to Bethlehem United Church of Christ Memorial Fund.
