Biography

The existence of Phillip Drew is established by a York county vital record for the births of his grandchildren through daughter Mary (Drew) Bale. In addition to other vital record facts Phillip Drew is recorded as being Mary's father. ^[1] was born about 1725 base upon the birth year of her first child Simeon. Her father's name is confirmed by Maine Vital Records registering the births of her children. ^[1]

Based upon Mary's birth estimate of 1725, Phillip's birth is estimated at 1700. He was probably born in either Massachusetts or Maine.
