Biography
Lula Kate Drinkard was the daughter of Richard Drinkard and Martha Davis. On 21 Dec 1914 Lula Kate married Richard Clark Jackson in Marengo County, Alabama. She and Richard had three children, Willard Jackson born 1917, Mattie Jackson born 1919 and Richard Jr born 1921, all born in either Clark County or Marengo County, Alabama. Lula Kate died of pneumonia in 1923 and Richard took the three children to live with Lula's parents, Richard and Martha Drinkard.
