He was the youngest of eight childrem of "Aleck" and Leona. Fielder went by his middle name of Ray. He signed his WW2 Draft Registration as Ray Dunivant.Italic text [2]

Obituary : On July 31, 1981, Fielder Ray (Dunivant) of Ennice, N.C. (formerly of Havre de Grace, Md) beloved husband of Kate Dunivant, devoted father of Norma Jean Edwards, Charles, Gale and Billy Dunivant, brother of Mittie Bagwell and Etta Anderson. Also survived by five step-children, 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Services at the Howard K McComas III Funeral Home, Abingdon, Md, Monday, August 3 at 1 pm. Interment in Harford Memorial Gardens, Aldino, Md. Fridns may call at the funeral Home Sunday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.[7]
