Halcyon Roberta Dunkel was born on 11 July 1912 in Fairfield, Jefferson, Iowa, the daughter of George K. Dunkel and Ida B. Hemstead. ^[1]

Halcyon married twice:

1. Kennard Karl Dunkin; married 15 July 1930 in Gentry, Missouri; divorced in October 1933 in Adams, Iowa.
2. Harold Hawkins Davidson (1916-1992). Married in or after 1940. ^{[2] [3]}

Halcyon was born in 1912 in Iowa. She married Harold H Davidson. When she passed away, she was buried in the Garden of the Last Supper, Tallahassee Memory Gardens, Tallahassee, Florida. She shares a grave marker with her husband Harold. Her first husband is buried in Gravity, Iowa. Her parents are buried in Fairfield, Iowa. ^{[4] [5]}
