Ellsworth was born in Wilson, NY on April 24, 1900 to Fred and Augusta Wills Dunker.[1][2][3][4][5] He married Myrtle Richmond, a substitute teacher at the Lockport High School, on July 3, 1924.[6][7][8][9][10] He worked as a machinist.[5][3][9]
He was active in various clubs including the Knights Templar, Ames Chapter and the Red Jacket Lodge 646.[4][11] He was also a member of the Emmanuel Methodist Church.[4]
Ellsworth died on November 21, 1955 at the Lockport hospital and was buried in Cold Springs Cemetery.[4]
