Ada was born in North Shields, Northumberland, England, on August 3, 1880. She was the daughter of William Dunn and Margaret Hadaway. She was baptized on September 1, 1880, in Tynemouth. She was enumerated in the 1881, 1891, and 1901 census residing with her family in Tynemouth. In 1901, she stated she was twenty and a "Milliner".
Ada married Thomas Bell Scott in 1905. The marriage was registered in the fourth quarter in Tynemouth. Ada appeared in the 1911 census residing in North Shields. She states she was married (husband on preceding page?). Two children at residence, Thomas Cyril and Vera Florence. (Note...both children's birth place listed as Batona So. Russia).
Ada passed away in 1962 in Tynemouth.
