Malinda/Belinda Dunn was born 5 June 1819 near Somerset, Pulaski County, Kentucky, the daughter of James Dunn and Dicey Martin. She married Elijah Warren on 11 December 1838 at Pulaski County, Kentucky. She died 13 March 1907 at Bentley, Sedgwick County, Kansas.

The Bentley News (Bentley, Kansas) 22 March 1907, p. 5, col. 2: Obituary - Warren. Malinda Dunn was born near Somerset, Pulaski Co., Ky. June 5, 1819, and died at Bentley, Kan. March 13, 1907, aged 87 years, 9 months and 8 days. At the age of 19 she was married to Elijah Warren, to which union was born four sons and two daughters, all of whom survive but one son. In 1894 [Note: as in the original; note the family is enumerated in the 1870 US Census in Decatur County, Iowa.] the family moved from Kentucky to Leon, Iowa. In 1900 they moved to Big Spring, Iowa. In 1901 she was left a widow at the age of 81. In 1902 she came to Kansas and since that time has made her home with her daughter Mrs. L.E. Harrow, with the exception of a few months spent in Okla. She was converted at the age of 14 years and united with the M.E. Church. She was a faithful and consistent christian and died in peace and in the hope of eternal life. The funeral was conducted from the Bentley M.E. Church Thursday morning by the pastor, and the body was shipped to Iowa for burial.
