Biography

Sara Catherine Dunn was born on July 24, 1884 in Woodbury County, Iowa.^[1] She was the daughter of Patrick Dunn and Catharine Murphy. Her parent's were from Ireland. Sara was in her parent's home as a baby, in 1885, in Concord, Woodbury County..^[2] At age 15, she was in her parent's home in Concord, Woodbury County, Iowa, along with 2 siblings.^[3]

At age 19, She married Robert Martin Dressell (1877-1954) on April 26, 1903, in Sioux City, Woodbury County, Iowa.^[4] They had 1 known child.

Sara Hendricks married Michael Barrett on 3 June 1918 in Butte, Silver Bow, Montana.^[7] Sara was divorced, born in Sioux City, Iowa, the daughter of Patrick Dunn and Katherine Murphy. Michael born in Vermillion, South Dakota, was the son of William and Ann Barrett.

Sara died on April 23,1952, at the age of 67, in Stockton, San Joaquin County, California.^[8] She was widowed at the time of her death, and had lived in Stockton, California for 25 years. Clayton Joseph Dressell was the informant on her death certificate.

She was buried in the Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota.^[1]
