Biography

Peter Dorland was born on11 Jan 1784, in Morris, Camden, New Jersey, his father, William Durland Sr (1852-1903) and his mother, Margaret Caskey (1755-1803). He married Mary Ann "Nancy" Sovereign (1788–1834) on May 6, 1810, in Cayuga, New York. He died on May 14, 1855, in Bath, New York and buried in Sonora Cemetery, Savona, Steuben County, New York.
