WADDELL - DURRINGTON: The Methodist Church, Lismore, was the scene of a pretty wedding recently when Gloria, second youngest daughter of Mrs. and the late Mr. C. Durrington, was married to Roy, second son of Mr. and Mrs. G. Waddell, Bexhill. Rev. Finigan officiated and Mr. Brockington pre sided at the organ.

The bride, in a fitting gown of bridal satin, entered the church on the arm of her brother, L.A.C. K. Durrington, who gave her away. Her frock featured a heart shaped neckline, bodice trimmed with braiding, and the skirt falling into a long full train. Her veil, loaned by Mrs. Brockington, was pleated into a halo and finished with top knots of frangipani. She carried a frangrant bouquet of frangipani, charm dahlias, abelia, and trails of frangipani.

She was attended by her sister, Beryl; who wore a soft blue frock of mariette featuring a long waist line and very full skirt, a finger tip length veil scalloped and finished with topknots of pink flowers. Her bouquet was of charm dahlias and gerberas to tone.

Both bride and maid wore beau itiful blue pendants, loaned by Mrs. J. Westerman, friend of the bride.

During the signing of the register Miss D. Hermann sang "My Wishes For You."

The bridegroom was attended by his cousin, Mr. J. D. Crawford, ex P.O.W., as best man.

At a reception held in the Apollo lounge guests were received by the bride's mother, assisted by the bridegroom's mother. Mrs. Dur rington wore a two tone ensemble in black and pink with black accessories, and a spray of pink car nations pinned to her frock. Mrs. Waddell wore a navy beaded frock with navy accessories and a spray of red rosebuds pinned to her shoulders.

The bouquets were made and given to the bridal party by Mrs. H. Crawford. Leaving for the honeymoon, which was spent touring northern beaches, the bride looked smart in a frock of pink crepe made with the new peplum front and black accessories.

Mr. and Mrs. Waddell are making their home at Bexhill.
