Jonathan Dutton was born on November 3, 1747/1748. He married Martha Beeson on February 5, 1772, at Holy Trinity (Old Swedes) Church, in Wilmington, Delaware. Martha was born on May 25, 1750. Jonathan was sanctioned for marrying out of Friends and marrying a non-member. Jonathan and Martha lived in Upper Chichester Township, in Chester County (became part of Delaware County in 1789), Pennsylvania. Jonathan Dutton died on February 9, 1820. His will was administered on February 23, 1820. Martha (Beeson) Dutton died in 1829 or 1830. Her will was administered on February 23, 1830.
