Biography

Theophilus Dyer was born August 1796.^[1] He was the son of Theophilus Dyer and Hannah Miller.

He maried Mary Anne Dyer on September 1, 1821 in Cape Elizabeth, Cumberland, Maine.^[2] They had at least 10 children.

Theophilas was a Farmer. He and Mary Ann made their home in Cape Eliazabeth, Cumberland, Maine, In 1850, Theaophilas (age 53) and Mary Ann (age 49) were in Cape Elizabeth, with Willis N-22, Evaline H-25, Sarah E-19, John W-17, Emmerson S-15, George S-13, Charles W-10 and William W-5 in the home. The older boys were farming also.^[3]

He died at the age of 80 on July 16, 1877 and was buried in the Evergreen Cemetery inPortland, Cumberland, Maine.^[1]
