Biography
Clementine Eager was born about 1857 in Ireland. She was the daughter of Reverend J Seymour Eagar, Rector of Drumdoldon, County Down. [1]
Clementine married Everard Digges La-Touche before 1883. Two sons were killed in action in 1915, Everard in August at Lone Pine, Gallipoli and Averill seven weeks later in Ypres, Flanders.
In 1915 she was living care of C B Jameson Esq, Monaterean, County Kildare, Ireland.
Having been widowed for thirty years, Clementine passed away on 11th February 1930 in Rathgar, County Dublin.
