John Henry Eaton was born on 4 Jun 1913 in Springhill, Cumberland County, Nova Scotia, Canada, son of Graham Allen Eaton (1875 - 1962) and Harriet Beecher Stowe (Patriquin) Eaton (1882 - 1973).
His siblings were:

- Edna Eunice (Eaton) Thomas (1914 - 1995)
John married Victoria Beasley (born in 1913; died in 2005) on 18 Sep 1945 in St. Albans, England.
John died on 11 Jan 1996 in Moncton, Westmorland County, New Brunswick aged 82. He is buried in Dorchester Rural Cemetery, Dorchester, New Brunswick.[1]
