Biography

Notes about Peter's life: Peter de was born circa 1271 at Eyton, Shropshire, England. He was the son of Peter de Eyton 111. In a charter with a date in the early 1320's, Peter assigns himself as Peter, son of Sir Peter de Eyton and that he has granted a right of way for a road through Lega, a portion of the Leonard-Lee estate he had inherited from his grandmother. Peter is found on several charters in the 1820's. On 28 April 1825, he is appointed as a commissioner and appears n three other writs in the same year, the last being on 20 September. These are the last that Peter is found on record. Peter departed this life before 13 August 1328 at the Manor of Eyton, Shropshire, England. By this time his son John is signing himself as Lord of Eyton.
