Biography
In the Eyton pedigree in the Visitation of Shropshire[1] he was recorded as 'Lodovicus' (i.e. Louis or Lewis) Eyton, the second son of Sir Nicholas Eyton of Eyton, Shropshire, and Katherine Talbot. He had married Anne, daughter of Sir John Savage and their children were Frances, Anne, Henry and Fulk.
Lewis Eyton, referred to from 1491, was in possession of the manor [of Eyton upon the Weald Moors] by 1506. He was dead by 1514 and was succeeded by his son Henry, who was lord in 1529 and died in 1537[2].
