Orland H. Eber, 71, 2013 Biltmore Ave., died early Wednesday at the Morgan Nursing Home following a brief illness. He was stricken the day after the funeral of his wife, Mrs. Hazel Eber, May 23. He had been associated with the C.E. Loker Implement Co. for 15 years. Mr. Eber belonged to the Pilgrim Holiness Church, Fifth and Hackley Sts. He was the son of John and Millie Drumm Eber, pioneer residents and was born in Delware County. Surviving are two sons, Gene and Howard, of Muncie; four grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Evan Zeller, of Muncie. Funeral services will be held at the Pilgrim Holiness Church Friday at 1:30 p.m with the Rev. D.W. Lacey officiating. Burial will be made in the Tomlinson Cemetery. Friends may call at the Meeks Mortuary after 5 p.m. Thursday or one-half hour prior to the services at the church.
