Biography

Peter Eberle has German Roots.

Peter was born 4 December 1824 and baptized 5 December at Leutershausen, a village outside of Schriesheim, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. He was the son of Peter Eberle and Susanna Otti. ^[1]

On 23 January 1848 at Leutershausen, he married Elisabetha Sommer, daughter of Peter and Elisabetha Sommer. ^[2]

The couple arrived in Australia in 1855 aboard the Peru. As of 1872 he was a boot and shoe maker, living in Albury, New South Wales. ^[3]

He had a house in Olive Street, Albury. ^[4]

He passed away 2 June 1903 at Albury and is buried at Albury Pioneers Cemetery. ^{[5] [6]}
