Biography
Francis moved to Carbon County about 1870 or soon after. In 1880 he lived in Penn Haven, Lehigh Township, Carbon, Pennsylvania where he was working as a laborer. In 1900 the family lived on Mauch Chunk Street in Mahoning Township, Carbon, Pennsylvania and Francis was working for the railroad.
