Biography
Jacob was born in Clifton, Lancashire in 1897. He was the son of William Eckersley and Ann Wolstenholme. [1] In the 1911 census, the family were living at 436 Manchester Road, Clifton and Jacob was an aboveground wagoner at the colliery. [2]
He passed away in 1969.
