Biography
William was born in 1781 and baptised in Sithney, Cornwall on the 1st June.[1]His parents are recorded as George and Catherine
William Eddy married Elizabeth Polmeer 18 May 1812 in Sithney, both of the parish.[2]
In the 1841 census, he is recorded as being at home in Sithney, Porthleven, Cornwall with his wife Elizabeth (aged 45) and sons Richard (aged 18), Gorge (aged 15), Charls (aged 12) and James (aged 8). [3]
In the 1851 census, William (aged 69), a fisherman, is recorded as being at home in Sithney, Porthleven, Cornwall with his wife Elizabeth (aged 58) and son James (aged 18).[4]
He died early in 1853.[5]
