Biography

Drewry was born on October 13, 1818, in Wilson County, Tennessee to William and Elizabeth Edwards.

On September 29, 1841 Drewry Edwards married Mary Lucille Stoker in Carroll, Tennessee. Together they had eight children:

  1. Robert Nathaniel Edwards (1842 - 1923)
  2. Mary Diana Edwards (1849 - )
  3. James Howard Edwards (1845 - 1920)
  4. Huldah Jane Kidwell (1847 - 1932)
  5. William Stoker Edwards (1849 - 1930)
  6. John Bradford Edwards (1851 - 1929)
  7. Melissa Ann Edwards Bobo (1854 - 1946)
  8. Sarah Elizabeth Edwards Pogue (1858 - 1902)

Drewry Edwards passed away in 1909 and was buried at Elsey Cemetery in Bardwell, Kentucky.
