Biography
Emily was born in 1878. She was the daughter of John Edwards and Mary Ann Grey.[1]
She married Aubrey Jackson in April 1900 at Carterton.[2][3] The children of Alice and Aubrey were:
- Aubrey Montague Ferdinand
- Ada Mary Rita
- Ioleen Alice May
- Eric James
- Hector Alfred
She was widowed when her husband was killed in action in France on 5 September 1918.[5]
She married Frederick Polley in 1945.[6]
She passed away in 1949.[7] She is buried in the Waiheke Lawn Cemetery.[8][9]
