Mary Edwards was born in June 1837 in Great Cheverell, Wiltshire, England, the daughter of William Edwards and Hannah (Fox) Edwards.[1]
She was baptised on 11 June 1837 in Great Cheverell.[2]
In 1841 Mary was with her parents and siblings at The Bell Inn, Great Cheverell where her father was the licensee. [3]
Her father died in 1841.
In 1851 Mary was with her mother and 4 brothers on High St, Market Lavington, Wiltshire.[1]
