Biography

Harriet was born in 1853. She was the daughter of William Edwards and Barbara Jane Harnsberger. She lived with her parents and siblings in Johnson Township, Clinton, Indiana in 1860.^[1] They lived in Michigan Township, Clinton, Indiana in 1870^[2] and 1880.^[3]

Hattie married James Custer on 30 March 1882 in Clinton, Indiana, United States.^[4] They had a son. They lived in Michigantown, Michigan Township, Clinton, Indiana in 1900.^[5] They lived in Monroe, Jefferson, Indiana in 1910^[6] and Madison Township, Jefferson, Indiana in 1920.^[7]

Harriet died from bronchopneumonia (age 63) on 11 March 1922 in Indianapolis, Marion, Indiana, United States.^[8][9]
