Martha was born in 1809, the daughter of John Edwards and Margaret Whitehead. As their eldest child, Martha was the administrator for her father's estate.
She married John L Thomas about 1824-1825.
She is said to have died 1 Aug 1870. Martha is buried at the Chestnut Creek Cemetery, Chilton County, Alabama.[1]
