Abigail Eggleston was born in Windsor, Hartford County, Connecticut Colony on 14 Dec 1683. She was the daughter of John Eggleston and Esther Mills.[1]
Abigail married Samuel Osborn, son of Samuel Osborn and Mary Brooks in May of 1704 at Windsor.[2][3] They had one child, a son they named Samuel, born on 6 Jul 1708,[4], somewhat more than three months before Abigail's death, on 18 Oct 1708.[5]
Research Notes
Date of Death: The published vital records of Windsor (Barbour Collection) state that Abigail, wife of Samuel Osborn, Jr., died on 16 Oct 1705.[6] The date of 18 Oct 1708, provided by Stiles in an independent reading of the documents,[7] has been preferred here, since it allows for the birth of her son Samuel in July of 1708, taken from the same documentation.
