- Rev. Mr. Blodgett attended the funeral of Mr. Cyrus Eighmey yesterday, nine miles west of this city. We learn that Mr. Eighmey died very suddenly, having been sick but a few days. He had lived in this county for a number of years, and was highly respected, both as a businessman and a Christian. He was an active worker in the M. E. Church, and his loss will be severely felt, not only in the immediate neighborhood in which he lived, but very generally throughout the county. He was fifty-six years of age and leaves a wife and nine children, six of whom reside in Taylor county. TAYLOR COUNTY REPUBLICAN, Bedford, Iowa, Sep 5, 1878 Thu
