He attended the public schools of Westerly, Rhode Island , and studied his profession in the New York College of Dentistry . He first located in Mystic, Connecticut , then removed to Norwich, Connecticut , where he practiced his profession for the remainder of his life. He served on the board of education in Norwich . He was a member of the Broadway Congregational Church. He was a member of St. James Lodge, Free and Accepted Masons; Knights Templar, Columbian Commandery, Mystic Shrine, thirty-second degree
Married 24 November 1887 in Stonington, New London, Connecticut[1]
He was buried in Maplewood Cemetery in Norwich, New London County, Connecticut[2]
