Biography
Magnus Eliassen Barstad was born in Ørsta and baptized on 20 Sep 1795.[1][2]
Magnus married widow Anne Monsdatter Rekkedal on 5 Jul 1829 in Hjørundfjord.[3]
Magnus married for a second time to widow Anne Karine Jensdatter Brautaset on 24 Jun 1844 in Ørsta.[4]
In the 1865 census, Magnus Eliassen (age 71) was the father-in-law of John Annaniassen at Rekedal in Hjørundfjord.[5]
He died on 10 Jun 1869 in Hjørundfjord.[6] The age given on his burial record was 74 years.
